Taking One Last Look at the Final Rise of Skywalker Trailer

During Monday Night Football on 10/21, advanced tickets have been released for the final conclusion of the Star Wars Saga. Atom Tickets says,

“[The] Rise of Skywalker is the most anticipated movie of the fall.”

In addition to advanced tickets being released, the final trailer for The Rise of Skywalker debated during the Halftime Show and then was released by the official Star Wars website followed by a new poster for the upcoming film.



The Rise of Skywalker trailer is a 2 minute and 37-second trailer that showed some new and old footage from previous trailers. The breakdown of the trailer reveals more footage of the new planets of Ajan Kloss, Pasaana, Kijimi and the ocean moon planet called Kef Bir. With over 22M views on Youtube, fans have already started analyzing and making theories based on the footage shown in the trailer. In addition to the trailer, the runtime for The Rise of Skywalker has been revealed of 2hr 35min, making this the longest Star Wars movie.



The Rise of Skywalker trailer teases new peeks of what’s to come with Rey, Kylo, Finn, and Poe showcasing new lightsaber battles, land and space battles, adventurous chases, and a return of a mysterious villain.



“Long have I waited, and now your coming together is your undoing.”

In addition to the new trailer teasing new Resistance ships and the fate of C-3PO, the trailer has new dialogue from the long-awaited return of Emperor Palpatine along with a new shot of what looks like Palpatine and Rey confronting him. Not only does the trailer reveals the return of Palpatine, but a return of the Original Trilogy Star Destroyers rising from the water.



Will the First Order and Resistance set their differences aside and join forces to defeat Palpatine? Will we see the Ghost and other trilogy ships in The Rise of Skywalker? We’ll have to see what happens when The Rise of Skywalker hits theatres on December 19th.
